Tasmanian Elopement - Matt & Alisha

After a bit of a break from shooting due to covid and being a new mum, this wedding was certainly the creative release I had been craving. To say it was photogenic would be an understatement. The setting alone was enough, with the rugged and textural Tassie coastline and its muted earthy tones. Add Alisha with her vibrant red hair and personality and Matt’s experience behind the camera making them so relaxed and easy to photograph, oh and of course the love & chemistry between these two. Being wedding professional themselves, Matt & Alisha knew exactly how to create the perfect wedding day. They thought of all the details and elements to make their intimate wedding a truly memorable experience for their nearest and dearest in the most idyllic setting complimented by styling by Boho Luxe, food by Sarah Glover and Music by The Foley Artist. Thalia haven sits on the East coast of Tassie and is like an old French villa with authentic stone work, cosy fires, olive trees and an outdoor bath that is instagram famous overlooking the ocean to Freycinet National Park.
